Termite Control (Baiting System)

These are above ground (AG) baiting system.

This baiting system is used at active termite ways.

These are in ground (IG) baiting system. It is used to prevent termite from soil raise up to the building and to eliminate all termite in colony in groud.

In ground (IG) baiting system can be used to monitor termite before raise up to building.

Termite Control (CBS-Pre Construction)

Termite Control use Chemical Berrier System (CBS) for Pre Construction.

Spraying chemical around the building.

Injection process near building foundation.

Termite Baiting System

In general there are three types of subterranean termites are the most common termites attacking buildings include soil type macrotermes, microtermes, and coptotermes. Subterranean termites live and breed optimally in the soil at a depth 1-2 feet. Termites build his kingdom in a way colonize and live in a caste. The highest caste are the queens and kings, soldiers and workers are the lowest caste. Caste workers charged with caring for and feeding the other castes in a colony. The nature of the transfer of food from one to thousands of termites termites is their work so that speed causes damage to materials that contain cellulose like wood, paper, carpet, cable etc which is the staple food of termites. The level of damage and cruising range of three types of subterranean termites are the most severe type of Coptotermes. Based on the survey results and condition of the building is infested termites then we recommend control measures to the feeder system (termite baiting system).

The advantage of this TBS, so we recommend the system are:

A. Termite Baiting System will not interfere with or alter the structure of an occupied building. With this system does not need to do the drilling on the interior or exterior.
B. Termite Baiting System is not only fortify the buildings from termite attack, but to destroy the termite colony.
C. Can provide protection from termite attack as long as possible.
D. This system is very suitable for highrise building.

III. IMPLEMENTATION METHOD
Termite BAITING SYSTEM

Method: termite Baiting System (TBS) using the method of feeding.
Coverage pests: Termites Land (subterranean termite) type Sp and termite species Coptotermes macro / micro.
WORK PROCEDURES
a. Installation
Performed installation of feeding system on location:
• Above-Ground Station (AG)
Bait stations are installed directly on the building that was attacked. (Only installed if there is already an active termite attack.) Contain toxic termite termites preferred form of tissue.

• In-Ground Station (IG)
Bait stations are planted into the ground around the building every ± 5-8 m. Wood bait stations containing bait to lure the termites who are looking for food.

b. Monitoring
Routine examination in the In-Ground Station every 2 weeks. If you find any active termites feed on wood, the wood bait is replaced with recuit II. Monitoring is also done on Above-Ground Station to ascertain whether the bait has been consumed and the amount of feed is sufficient until the next monitoring. At the time of monitoring, also conducted inspections on the area around the station and other critical areas to determine the existence of a new termite infestations.

c. Elimination
Routine examination and the addition of tissue in the In-Ground & Above-Ground Station every 2 weeks until exhausted eliminated termite colony (usually 3-6 months)

d. Advanced Monitoring
Following colony elimination process is completed, the technician will continue to do monitoring on Above-Ground Station and replace Recruit II on In-Ground Station with WMD / wood bait back.

Termite Baiting System

Handling by the method of feeding termite pest (termite baiting system)

The method is intended for feeding termites have gone up or there is a path in the form of termite soil clods.

The photo above is one example of the path that has been gnawing termites closet.

Installation of termite bait in the ground (in ground) aimed at monitoring and preventive so that termites from outside the home does not get into the house.

Monitoring is conducted once every 2 weeks until the termites were eliminated.

Installation of termite bait on the active line on a wall or wood termites.

Chemical Barrier System

Countermeasures termites in your home / office / industrial with chemical barrier system (CBS) is by way of anti-termite chemical spraying around the foundation to building that has not been finished or by drilling (injection) floor to the finished building.

This method aims to prevent termites to not ride through the building foundation.

Termite Control by your self

In most cases all, a service company will be required to Dry Wood Termites.1.How to do your own termite bait, you'll find "how to" do your own pest / termite uses such as Advance Termite Bait Termite System, Hex Pro Termite Bait System or FIRSTLINE Termite Bait System that works for Termite Soil. The Advance and Hex Pro System have chitin inhibitors, similar to that used by the Sentricon system. Advance and HexPro system labeled for pre-treatment (pre-construction), while the Temple FIRSTLINE System does not pre-labeled for treatment.2. Traditional chemical termite treatment, you will find "how to" do your own pest control and termite use Dominion 2L,, Permethrin Termite Chemical 36% or Cyper TC as your choice for treating termite repellent barriors. However technology as non repellents such as Dominion 2L is a progress more other termite insecticides that are only repellent barriers. With termitisida "repellant", one of the smallest gap in the treated soil can be detected and exploited by the termites to gain entry into the building. They will find ways around it. This is a major short-coming of a more traditional chemicals used for termite control.

* Perform termite work alone, particularly in applying chemicals for termites, maybe not for everyone. We also hope to assist you with a guide to finding a qualified service company that treats termites at How to Choose a Pest Control Service.

* At Home Termite Inspection, you will find a series of images showing the damage from termites, beetles and powder post carpenter ants.

* Can I apply termite chemicals myself?, Designed to answer the question. This will give you advice and instruction if needed to treat for termites.

* Traditional / standard termite chemical barrier treatments for underground (ground) termite designed to prevent their entry structure. They also will prevent termites inside the structure from getting into the ground to get the moisture needed to survive.

Because chemical pesticides currently available barrier very short lived, in some cases, no more than 3-5 years, the concept of using a chemical barrier treatment as the only way of controlling subterranean termites has been challenged by the bait is designed to termites.

* There are various bait systems, for termites in the market.

Instead of injecting chemicals into the soil that will only last a few years, now you can place termite bait directly into the soil around the outside of the structure which the termites will find, eat and die.

Termite bait system technology is constantly changing and improving.

Bait termite colony is simple and can also be used as a monitoring tool to detect termites where they have not been a problem.

Elimininate termite bait and control in conditions where these structures can not be treated with termitisida ground (near bodies of water for example), or there are concerns about the use of pesticides, and even in structures where soil treatments have failed.

* The underground (Ground) will have a termite colony in the ground, building vertical tunnels that look like mud tubes above ground level so that they can find food.

* Underground (Ground) termites can form tunnels through cracks in the concrete, so slab homes are not exempt from termites.

subterranean termites will die if exposed to air for an extended period of time; tunnels used to transport food to the nest and protect themselves.

subterranean termites should stay in contact with the ground in order to survive as opposed to dry wood termites that only need low moisture.

* Dry wood termites are more prevalent in the coastal regions. These termite can be done on the furniture from one area to another. Dry wood termites are found once in the attic wood structure.

See our section on Termite / Ant Diagram to determine the main differences between ant appearance and termite appearance.

INFESTATION TERMITE SIGNS CAN INCLUDE:

1. Mud like tunnels, usually vertical, between interior and exterior foundation walls.

2. Termite wings.

3. "Swarmers" or flying termites emerge in the home, especially near light sources.

TERMITE underground APPEARANCE:

1. Workers: winged, light-colored, 1 / 8 inch long

2. Soldier: elongated head with jaws.

3. Additional reproduction or reproductive: light colored with no wings or very short

4. Primary reproductive or reproductive: most often seen, winged, and darker than the three other castes are also called "swarmers".

Dry wood TERMITE APPEARANCE:

Dry wood termites larger (up to 1 / 2 inches long) from subterranean termites.

DIET:

Dry wood termite diet is wood and other cellulose materials, such as paper, cardboard, etc.
